HOUSTON HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION MEETING

April 26, 2010 7:00 P.M.
Meeting called to order by Alumni President, Bonnie McElroy.
Those present included: Sharon Holder, Terry Holder, Sandra Craven, Callie Manier, Bonnie McElroy, Rowena Moore, Paul Ice, Norman Epperson, Sandra Manier, Virginia Clark, Roger Holder, Sidney Ann Bridges and Lana Bucher.
Minutes of the March 22, 2010 meeting were presented. Motion made by Norman Epperson, seconded by Lana Bucher to approve minutes. Motion passed.
Treasurer's report was presented. Motion by Sidney Ann Bridges, seconded by Virginia Clark to approve treasurer's report. Motion passed.
The Houston High School Alumni Scholarship committee composed of Lana Bucher, Carrie Pierce and Terry Flowers reviewed the 22 applications and made the following selections:

- Collins Scholarship    Victoria Floyd
- H.H.S. Alumni Scholarship    Amber Honig
- H.H.S. Alumni Scholarship    Jessica Herndon
 
- First Alternate    Courtney Sillyman
- Second Alternate    Terri Hall
- Third Alternate    Joshua Pounds
 
Selection for the Class of 1964 Scholarship
- Class of 1964 Scholarship    Sean Conway
- Alternate Class of 1964    Brittany Stallcup

The following Alumni have been selected to serve on the committees for the Alumni Week-end Activities:
  • Decorations: Sandra Manier, Sandra Craven, Shirley Best
  • Food: Sandra Manier, Houston Schools Cafeteria
  • Singing for Program: Ed Edington, Jodi Edington Turnbough
  • Assessment Forms: Paul Ice
  • Dues Collection: Callie Manier, Kay Honeycutt, June Dawson
  • Alumni Newspaper: Sharon Holder, Carrie Pierce, Virginia Clark, Kay Honeycutt
  • Set up and clean up: Houston FFA Chapter
  • Agenda and Master of Ceremonies: Bonnie McElroy.

Next meeting will be June 28, 2010.
